River Financial Sues Blockstream Services Canada for Breach of Contract

River Financial filed a lawsuit against Blockstream Services Canada, ULC in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on September 11, alleging a breach of a termination agreement involving over $6.7 million in payment obligations. The defendant is a separate entity from Blockstream Corporation; Blockstream Mining spun off into an independent company in early 2025 and continues to use the brand name under a licensing agreement.
