Alabama Accounting Manager Embezzles Nearly $191,000 from Employer

An accounting manager at an Alabama firm, Andrew W. Volkoff, pleaded guilty to wire fraud after embezzling $190,924.57 over two and a half years. Volkoff issued unauthorized payroll payments to himself and used the company's American Express card for personal expenses, including a luxury car down payment. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
