KB Securities Partners with Securitize and Optimism for Tokenized Funds

South Korean financial firm KB Securities (KB Securities) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Securitize (Securitize) and the Optimism Foundation (Optimism Foundation) to launch tokenized financial products on the OP Mainnet. The initiative aims to provide tokenized money market funds (MMF) and other investment strategies to institutional investors in Korea. KB Securities will handle product structuring and distribution, while Securitize provides the tokenization infrastructure and Optimism Foundation supports the technical integration on the OP Mainnet. Future plans include expanding to equities, corporate bonds, and government bonds as local regulations evolve.
