Cosmos Hub Validators Halt Chain to Recover $4.4 Million After Neutron Governance Attack

An attacker manipulated a Neutron governance proposal by staking 31.6 million NTRN to pass a malicious motion, gaining control of 11 contracts and stealing approximately $4.4 million. In response, Cosmos Hub validators coordinated a chain halt lasting nearly 25 hours to recover 1.23 million ATOM from the attacker's wallet for redistribution to original holders.
