Ledger Adds Support for Private Zcash Balances

Ledger now allows users to manage private Zcash (ZEC) balances directly through its desktop application. The update enables users to hold both transparent and shielded balances within a single account, with private data processed locally on the user's machine. This feature is incompatible with the original Nano S, and users of the legacy Zondax app must migrate their funds before November 5. ZEC has seen significant market interest, with an 84% price increase over the past month and substantial inflows into Zcash ETFs.
