Circle Becomes Chelsea FC's Principal Shirt Sponsor for 2026/27 Season

Circle, the issuer of USDC, has announced a partnership to become the principal front-of-shirt sponsor for Chelsea Football Club across its men's, women's, and academy teams for the 2026/27 season. The deal, announced on Aug. 28, aims to increase brand visibility for the stablecoin issuer. While USDC is designed to maintain a stable value pegged to the US dollar without offering interest to holders, Circle generates significant revenue from the interest earned on its reserve assets, which totaled $668 million in the second quarter.
