DeepSeek updates API peak-off-peak pricing rules

DeepSeek has updated its API billing policy to classify weekends designated as compensatory workdays and Chinese statutory holidays as off-peak periods. Starting August 17, the company implemented a peak-off-peak pricing model where off-peak rates are half the price of peak hours. For example, the deepseek-flash model charges 1 CNY per million tokens for cache-miss inputs during off-peak hours, compared to 2 CNY during peak times. This policy applies to upcoming compensatory workdays, such as October 10.
