Spanish Authorities Dismantle Two Cryptocurrency Fraud Rings

Spanish Civil Guard and National Police have dismantled two separate cryptocurrency-related fraud operations, resulting in the arrest or identification of 48 suspects. One Ponzi scheme caused losses of approximately 327,000 euros for 113 investors, while another criminal network utilized phishing and fake rental advertisements to defraud victims of over 430,000 euros, laundering the proceeds through crypto assets to evade detection.
