Anthropic and Accenture to invest $2 billion in independent AI evaluation

Anthropic has partnered with Accenture to invest at least $2 billion over the next five years into the independent evaluation of frontier AI models. The project will be led by Faculty, Accenture's specialized AI division, focusing on red teaming, alignment checks, and security testing. This initiative advances the concept of "embedded evaluators," which allows external teams to monitor AI development and internal processes from within the company. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, who recently advocated for slowing down AI development due to security risks, noted that this is not an exclusive partnership and that further collaborations are expected.
