Binance issues security alert regarding FomoPeek app on iOS

Binance has issued a security warning for iPhone users regarding the FomoPeek application (versions 1.1-1.2). According to security firms like SlowMist (慢雾), the app contains malicious code that exploits iOS vulnerabilities to gain root access, potentially compromising sensitive data such as private keys, seed phrases, and login credentials. Users running iOS 16.x or earlier who have installed the app are advised to delete it immediately, update their iOS, and transfer assets to a new wallet created on a secure device.
