Hyperliquid launches manual borrowing feature on HyperCore

On September 18, the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid introduced a manual borrowing feature on HyperCore. Users can now lend assets for interest or collateralize HYPE and Bitcoin to borrow USDC, USDT, and other tokens. The service is integrated with perpetual futures and spot trading via portfolio margin, with interest rates determined by liquidity utilization. Borrowing volume reached $269 million on the first day.
