Anthropic Reports Claude Now Drives Over 25% of Internal AI Research

Anthropic (Anthropic) reported that its AI assistant, Claude, now leads approximately 26% of the company's AI research and development, up from nearly zero at the start of the year. Claude is involved in 90% of daily employee collaboration, with over 30,000 agents performing research and engineering tasks on the platform at any given time. The company plans to integrate independent third-party evaluators into its internal systems to monitor AI capabilities and safety risks, noting that 6% to 12% of its computing resources are currently dedicated to safety monitoring.
