Solana reduces slot time to 250ms

Solana has reduced its target slot time from 300ms to 250ms, increasing block generation speed by approximately 17%. This update aims to provide faster access to on-chain state and shorten transaction sequencing windows for validators. While the adjustment reduces the allowed computation and data per slot, the network's overall transaction capacity remains largely unchanged. Additionally, the change accelerates block hash expiration and reduces the expected epoch duration from 36 hours to 30 hours.
