ICE Executive: Avalanche Meets Many Requirements for NYSE On-Chain ATS

Michael Blaugrund, VP of Strategic Initiatives at Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and former COO of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), stated that Avalanche meets many of their requirements for a potential on-chain Alternative Trading System (ATS). No partnership has been finalized, and the evaluation is ongoing. ICE previously announced plans to integrate the NYSE Pillar matching engine with on-chain settlement to support 24/7 trading of tokenized stocks against stablecoins.
