Hyperliquid launches native lending as HYPE reaches new all-time high

Hyperliquid has introduced native manual borrowing, allowing users to pledge HYPE or Bitcoin as collateral to borrow USDC or USDT via HyperCore. The product launched on Sept. 18 with $269 million in assets borrowed on the first day. Founder Jeff Yan noted that the system leverages over $400 million in existing liquidity from the platform's portfolio-margin engine. Meanwhile, HYPE hit a new all-time high above $90, marking a 15% gain for the week.
