OpenAI hires SpaceX's Brian McCarthy as VP of Global Sales

According to Fortune, OpenAI has hired Brian McCarthy, a senior commercial leader from SpaceX, as its new Vice President of Global Sales. This move follows the appointment of Chief Revenue Officer Dali Rajic. Additionally, The Information reported that OpenAI has recruited two senior sales professionals from Snowflake. OpenAI currently serves over 2 million enterprise customers, a figure that has doubled year-over-year, with a strategic goal for enterprise revenue to account for half of the company's total revenue by the end of 2026.
