X adds trading features to cashtags for crypto and stocks

X (formerly Twitter) announced the launch of the X Cashtag Partner Program on the 15th, enabling trading features directly through cashtags for stocks, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies in the United States. Users can now navigate to partner brokerages and exchanges to execute trades directly from posts. Cashtags, which display price charts and related content when tapped, have been a feature on the platform since 2026.
