A vulnerability in an experimental feature of Core Lightning (CLN) could put user funds at risk, according to SlowMist. The Core Lightning team is investigating the issue and advises operators to disable experimental options such as --experimental-dual-fund, --experimental-splicing, and --experimental-peer-storage immediately. The flaw could allow remote peers to force nodes to pay abnormal fees or trigger crash loops. Operators are urged to maintain on-chain monitoring while waiting for an official patch and to remain cautious of fake patch links.
