Arcee AI Raises $150 Million in Series B Funding at $1 Billion Valuation

Enterprise AI startup Arcee AI has secured $150 million in a Series B funding round, reaching a pre-money valuation of $1 billion. The round was led by Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital, and Emergence Capital, with participation from Microsoft's M12, AI10 Ventures, Hitachi, IAG, P7, and Wipro. Founded in 2023 by former Hugging Face employee Mark McQuade, the company plans to use the capital to develop new open-weight models and expand collaborations with the U.S. Department of Energy and Vista portfolio companies.
