Cyberspace Administration of China Warns Jiangsu Company Over Unassessed API Gateway

The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) recently reported a case involving an illegal API gateway. On September 15, the CAC disclosed that a technology company in Jiangsu operated two websites that utilized an API gateway to call multiple large model product interfaces to provide services like dialogue and Q&A. The company failed to conduct mandatory security assessments, posing content security risks and violating the Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services. Local authorities ordered rectification and issued warnings to the responsible individuals. Reports suggest this case aligns with details regarding the 'Zhixin Token' platform launched by Jiangsu Biying Technology, a subsidiary of Suning.com, which previously aggregated multiple mainstream large models to provide a unified API service.
