TheDAO Security Fund Opens $1.8 Million Second Round for Ethereum Security Initiatives

TheDAO Security Fund has launched the second round of its ETHSecurity Initiatives, seeking $1.77 million to fund 10 Ethereum security projects. The program encourages companies benefiting from these projects to co-fund them, acting as a filter for project viability. Current initiatives include a $600,000 grant for the Vyper Foundation and $300,000 for Auditware. This follows a record-breaking first half of 2026, which saw 207 attacks and over $1.2 billion in total losses.
