Michael Kong claims involuntary departure from Sonic Labs and breach of agreement

Michael Kong, former CIO and CEO of the Fantom Foundation, stated that his departure from Sonic Labs was involuntary. He reported that the company terminated his relationship without cause while simultaneously seeking his assistance. Kong alleged that Sonic Labs has refused to honor a severance and release agreement signed after eight months of negotiations, and has also failed to fulfill existing contractor agreements. He further noted that Sonic Labs violated a non-disparagement clause in the agreement. Kong, who worked with Fantom/Sonic for over eight years and led the company's legal victory in a major South Korean cryptocurrency dispute, stated he reserves all rights to pursue claims against Sonic Labs and its affiliates.
