Claude assists in setting a new record for elliptic curves

Anthropic mathematician Levent Alpoge and cryptographer Ava Howell have utilized an internal version of Claude to identify an elliptic curve with a rank of at least 31, surpassing the previous record of 29. This finding is supported by the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture and the Generalized Riemann Hypothesis.
