Coinbase Chief Policy Officer Urges Crypto Voters to Oppose Lawmakers Against CLARITY Act

Coinbase Chief Policy Officer Faryar Shirzad stated that following the failure of the CLARITY Act (US digital-asset market-structure bill) to pass a key procedural vote, legislative efforts are effectively stalled. He argued that the SEC and CFTC can establish clear regulatory rules using existing authority and encouraged crypto voters to use their ballots in the upcoming midterm elections to oppose lawmakers who voted against the bill.
