Velocity Raises $48 Million in Series A Funding Round

Stablecoin payment infrastructure provider Velocity has raised an additional $10 million in a Series A extension, bringing its total funding to $48 million with a post-money valuation of $200 million. The round saw participation from Visa Ventures, Circle Ventures, Ripple, Haun Ventures, Translink Capital, and Mirana Ventures. Velocity provides infrastructure for banks and payment companies to integrate blockchain-based stablecoin settlements without replacing their existing systems.
