UAE PASS Migrates Document Vault to Avalanche L1

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) of the UAE is migrating the document storage component of its national digital ID platform, UAE PASS, to an Avalanche L1 blockchain. UAE PASS serves over 12.5 million users across more than 350 government and private entities. The transition aims to enhance scalability and processing performance for document verification. The project is being developed in collaboration with the Dubai-based consultancy Deca4, replacing the previous Quorum-based infrastructure.
