BlueWallet CTO Identifies 45 High-Risk iOS Crypto Wallets

BlueWallet CTO analyzed 494 non-custodial crypto wallets on the App Store and flagged 45 as having serious or high-risk security issues. The identified risks include the potential uploading of seed phrases or private keys, weak random number generation, server-side key storage, hardcoded encryption keys, and the loading of unsigned JavaScript that can access sensitive wallet data. The CTO noted that the analysis may contain false positives and emphasized that App Store approval or app popularity does not guarantee security.
