Bitcoin experiences single-block reorganization as Antpool block replaces Spiderpool block

Galaxy Research reported a single-block reorganization at Bitcoin block height 966500, where a block from Antpool was added to the main chain while a competing block from Spiderpool was discarded. This marks the third such event in the past four weeks, following similar occurrences at heights 962722 and 963853. The network resolved the competition by favoring the chain with the higher cumulative work. Transactions within the discarded block lose their confirmation status during such reorganizations.
