PumpFun Launches Holder Rewards Mechanism and Discontinues Cashback Model

PumpFun announced on September 13 the introduction of a Holder Rewards mechanism, replacing the previous Cashback option for new token launches. Creators can now choose between standard Creator Fee tokens and Holder Rewards tokens. Existing tokens can be converted to the new model, though the change is irreversible. Fees from Holder Rewards tokens will be distributed automatically to users holding over $20 worth of the asset, paid in the quote currency. Additionally, SOL/USDC pairs will maintain tiered fee structures, while custom pairs allow creators to set fixed fees between 0.01% and 3%.
