BlueWallet CTO identifies security risks in 45 iOS crypto wallets

The CTO of BlueWallet analyzed 494 non-custodial iOS crypto wallets from the App Store and identified 45 with severe or high-risk security issues. Identified vulnerabilities include the uploading of seed phrases or private keys to servers, insufficient randomness in wallet generation, and the use of hardcoded encryption keys. The CTO noted that these findings may contain false positives and that unlisted apps are not guaranteed to be secure.
