Symbiosis Recovers 15 BTC Following Bridge Exploit

Cross-chain protocol Symbiosis reported that an attacker exploited its Bitcoin Bridge on September 11. While the BTC cross-chain routing is currently paused, other components including EVM chains, TRON, and TON remain operational. The team has recovered approximately 15 BTC and moved the funds to a multi-signature wallet. Symbiosis has offered the attacker a 20% white-hat bounty if funds are returned by September 13; after this deadline, the same percentage will be offered as a reward to anyone providing information that leads to the recovery of the remaining funds. The final loss amount is still being calculated.
