Blockstream refuses $50 million bounty demand from Liquid hacker

Blockstream has rejected a demand for nearly 600 Bitcoin (approximately $50 million) from the attacker behind the Sept. 6 Liquid network exploit. The dispute centers on the appropriate reward for partial restitution after the hacker created 4,000 unbacked L-BTC and withdrew roughly 3,996 BTC.
