Blockstream rejects 10% ransom demand, demands return of 598.5 BTC

Blockstream has rejected a 10% ransom demand from the hacker responsible for the Liquid Network exploit. The company stated that the unauthorized seizure of assets and refusal to return them constitutes theft rather than white-hat activity. The attacker previously returned 3,400 BTC after the vulnerability was patched but retained approximately 598.5 BTC, valued at roughly $47.3 million.
