WSJ: Investors price in series of Fed rate hikes

According to the Wall Street Journal, the market expects at least three interest rate hikes from the U.S. Federal Reserve by June 2027. Investors are nearly certain of the first rate increase in three years at the September 16 meeting. Former Fed Vice Chair Richard Clarida suggests that further hikes will follow, noting that a single 0.25 percentage point increase would be insufficient to significantly curb inflation.
