Ant International partners with Visa and Mastercard to develop AI agent payment standards

Ant International has launched a collaboration with Visa and Mastercard to establish a 'Know Your Agent' (KYA) interoperability framework. This initiative aims to set universal standards for AI agent identity verification, authentication, and transaction monitoring, allowing agents verified on one network to operate across ecosystems. McKinsey projects that AI agents could participate in $3 trillion to $5 trillion of global consumer transactions by 2030.
