Former Bank of England Deputy Governor Jon Cunliffe Joins Fnality as UK Chair

Jon Cunliffe, the former Deputy Governor for Financial Stability at the Bank of England, has joined the blockchain payment firm Fnality as chairman of its UK entity. Additionally, former Deutsche Bundesbank official Jochen Metzger has been appointed to the supervisory board of Fnality Europe, with Ron Berndsen, a former supervisor at the De Nederlandsche Bank, also joining the board. Fnality operates a wholesale payment system that enables banks to settle debts using central bank money.
