Visa Stablecoin Settlement Volume Surpasses $20 Billion Annualized Rate

Visa reported that its annualized stablecoin settlement volume has exceeded $20 billion, marking a 15-fold increase compared to last year. Currently, over 160 stablecoin-linked card programs are live globally, with payment volumes rising nearly 200% year-over-year. Visa noted that on-chain credit solutions can reduce financing costs for these programs by up to 30%, as they require daily settlements.
