TSMC accelerates 1.4nm plant construction in Central Taiwan Science Park

TSMC is accelerating the construction of its 1.4nm production facilities in the Central Taiwan Science Park. The P1 plant is expected to begin trial runs in April and mass production in the second half of next year, ahead of the original 2028 schedule. The project includes four plants in total, with P2 expected to be completed by October next year, and P3 and P4 slated for completion in 2028.
