Elon Musk's X faces investigation by Irish regulators

The Irish media regulator has launched an investigation into X, focusing on the effectiveness of its age verification mechanisms and parental controls. The probe will assess whether X adequately protects users under 16 from adult content and if its parental control features meet minimum requirements and are sufficiently accessible. If found in violation of Irish online safety regulations, X could face fines of up to 20 million euros or 10% of its annual global turnover.
