Hyperliquid user account compromised, 738,600 USDC stolen

A Hyperliquid user account was compromised, resulting in the theft of approximately 738,600 USDC and the unstaking of 10,287 HYPE. Some stolen funds were traced to addresses linked to Bitget. While the HYPE tokens remain in the staking balance, they are at risk of further transfer if the attacker initiates a withdrawal after the 7-day waiting period. Recent incidents highlight the lack of emergency pause mechanisms for staked assets, leading to over $1.1 million in losses.
