Matter Labs open-sources Prividium engine; Bundesbank begins testing

Matter Labs has open-sourced the permissioning engine for Prividium, its DLT platform for financial institutions, allowing organizations to inspect and modify core code. The Deutsche Bundesbank has become the first institution to test and deploy the platform. CEO Alex Gluchowski stated that open-sourcing the core removes structural adoption barriers related to vendor lock-in. While the engine is now available for independent deployment, management tools and system integrations remain commercial offerings.
