Korea Exchange to Launch After-Hours Trading for KOSPI and KOSDAQ Stocks on September 14

The Korea Exchange (KRX) will introduce an after-hours market for KOSPI and KOSDAQ stocks starting September 14, operating from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will cover approximately 2,651 listed stocks, excluding those under specific risk categories or trading halts. The exchange will also implement a market maker system and restrict order types to limit orders and best-limit orders to enhance liquidity and investor protection.
