AI chip startup Celero raises $275 million at over $3 billion valuation

AI chip startup Celero Communications has secured $275 million in a funding round, pushing its valuation past $3 billion. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and Alphabet's venture arm, CapitalG. Founded in 2024, Celero develops coherent digital signal processors (DSPs) for optical data transmission in AI systems to enhance efficiency in large-scale AI chip clusters. Gavin Baker of Atreides Management will join the company's board.
