Financial Times: Huawei Coordinates Domestic Lithography Efforts with Yuliangsheng Targeting 12 DUV Units

Huawei is deepening its involvement in the domestic lithography supply chain by coordinating suppliers and manufacturers to integrate domestic DUV equipment into production lines. Shanghai Yuliangsheng (宇量昇) is currently testing advanced DUV equipment at facilities including SMIC and Huawei's own lines, with a goal to produce 12 units by the end of the year. While the project still relies on some overseas components like Zeiss lenses, Huawei has invested in local firms such as Ziqi Photonics and Keyi Hongyuan to localize lens and light source production.
