Fractal Bitcoin Completes First Halving and Expands to Bitcoin Mainnet

Fractal Bitcoin has completed its first halving at block height 2,100,000 and officially activated the FIP-102 proposal. Following the upgrade, block rewards on the Fractal network have been reduced to 6.25 FB, with an additional 6.25 FB issuance budget redirected to the Bitcoin mainnet. This expansion aims to provide Bitcoin users with direct access to FB without increasing the total supply. The specific distribution mechanism for the Bitcoin mainnet is expected to be detailed in FIP-103, with a target launch in Q1 2027.
