Arthur Hayes Releases FLOP Yellow Paper for AI Inference Blockchain

Arthur Hayes has introduced FLOP, a blockchain designed for Proof of Useful Inference (PoUI) to facilitate AI agent computing. The network allows AI agents to pay miners for inference services using the native FLOP token. The project features a 1-second block time and a total genesis supply of approximately 2.48 billion tokens, which will be distributed entirely via airdrops with no venture capital pre-mining. Miners and validators must stake tokens, and the network includes governance through improvement proposals.
