The Liquid sidechain for Bitcoin has paused operations after actors claiming to be white hats withdrew 4,000 BTC, valued at approximately $320 million. The individuals informed Blockstream that they intend to return the majority of the funds once a vulnerability in the Elements protocol is patched across the network.
