Base Co-founder Jesse Pollak Warns of Scam Token Promotion Following Account Compromise

Base co-founder Jesse Pollak reported that his X account was compromised via a third-party application, which the attacker used to promote a scam token named BASEMEME. The attacker claimed the token was the first utility-based meme coin and provided a link to o1.exchange along with a contract address. Pollak has since regained control of his account, deleted the fraudulent posts, and revoked all third-party application access.
