Telegram Launches Non-Custodial Gram Wallet for Over One Billion Users

Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced the launch of the non-custodial Gram wallet, integrated directly into the Telegram app. The rollout will begin with a small group of users and expand to over one billion users in the coming weeks. Built on the MyTonWallet engine, the wallet allows users to self-custody their 24-word seed phrases. The smart contracts powering the wallet have been approved by validators, ensuring seamless future upgrades. Gram, formerly known as Toncoin, serves as the native token for the TON network.
