South Korea's KOSPI Closes Up 0.23% with SK Hynix Gaining 1.13%

The South Korean KOSPI index closed up 15.78 points, or 0.23%, at 6,835.8 points on September 1. SK Hynix shares rose 1.13%, and Samsung Electronics increased by 0.38%. Meanwhile, the Nikkei 225 index fell 96.59 points, or 0.15%, to close at 66,215.34 points.
